Fix Glacier Flying?[ 61 votes ]
1. Yes 56 / 92%
2. No 5 / 8%

I was curious to see if anyone wanted this fixed. As it stands I haven't the time to fix it right now, but I can base it off the GlacierTS chassis and redistribute it through RG.

I would also look into adding a properly working Repair Facility instead of the problematic version that uses WS code, causing the repair arc to spawn at 0,0,0.

It would include the same high graphical quality of GlacierTS, while including airborne units. Additionally, it would have more optimization than the original did.

I can fix it for a second or third core patch. Let me know what you think.

I may also do TS versions of each official level, incorporating something different into them.

As long as the FPS problem is fixed, I'm happy with it. That's the ONLY reason we don't play cws on it. (Well, we usually want to but our opponents don't).

One other suggestion is provide something more for an apache to do i.e. a building they can hit without having to rush the PP.

Also, in GC_Flying there is a point where you can "squeeze" out and fly away from the map. It's near the place where the crashed plane is.

Yeh fix it definitly, at least having Aircraft in the fixed version will stop people complaining about the bridge camping all the time and maybe they can have the sense to buy an apache this time :rolleyes:

Fix it. Depends which fps problem you mean though, freezing up is the problem. It's such a detailed map in comparison to other ws maps thats why your fps is lower, but the freezing sucks. Also I'd love to be able to see mines...

And Glacier is cavernous enough that aircraft can actually still be somewhat useful, even if the L33T H4X0R snipers' damage against vehicles doesn't get fixed.
