i downloaded renalert and i install it and i get this when i try to run it " Run time '9' subcript out of range" can anyone tell me the problem or what i gotta to work it?

Do you have Renegade itself installed? (you need the original Renegade to run RenAlert).
You may need the visual basic run time files to run dante's final setup patch. AFAIK, it just renames an executable.

Chances are, that is what's giving you that 'subscript out of range' error. Try doing that manually instead.
Are you installing all the setup patches in order? Make sure you are logged in as the administrator when installing anything and disable any virus scanning software.
