smwscott | I mean for gods sake, if you're going to try to make a political statement at least make sense. Like for instance you could say that Kerry is soft on issues, or point out things that you disagree with.
|
Oh come now, you can't expect DarkDemin to have logical thought processes concerning politics. I mean, come on, he's Republican.
"To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public." -- Theodore Roosevelt (1918)
"The danger to political dissent is acute where the Government attempts to act under so vague a concept as the power to protect "domestic security." Given the difficulty of defining the domestic security interest, the danger of abuse in acting to protect that interest becomes apparent. --U.S. Supreme Court decision (407 U.S. 297 (1972)

That WOULD be the point of voting Kerry. They DO want a liberal piece of shit as president. Go figure, vote Bush.

Yeah, I mean, c'mon, Republicans have only been the choice of the American people 18 out of the last 28 presidencies (with democrats winning 9). America may not have the best education always, but the american people aren't that stupid to vote bad presidents that many times.
whoa.

Correction, Democrats have won 10 elections out of the past 28, Bush did not win either the popular vote or the electoral vote, so if you want to vote for some-one who conducted a coup against the white-house by all means do, just remember if this had happened in a less developed state U.N peace-keepers would have arrived long ago to take out Bush, which by the way was one of the things I was pointing at by calling Bush a Despot. As for American people aren't that stupid, they are, it's the same in every country, many people only pay attention at campaign time, then when the elected (or sometimes non-eleceted) official gets into office, the story changes.

Jball | Go figure, vote Bush.

What has Bush done that's really good for this country? The only thing he used to be running on was that he did a great job with 9/11, and now it turns out that he did a pathetic job. All Bush can really say now without lying is that he gave rich people a lot of money.

THE END OF THIS THREAD IS NIGH!
(at least, I suppose so. I'm surprised it hasn't moved to the dungeons of the Politics forum.)
