Hello. Recently, a new site called GamersUnion, http://gamersunion.org, has been launched. This is a place for every gamer to come together and chat. We have setup a forum for every game that we can possibly think of. We also have numerous other forums setup about other gaming related issues. Come to discuss tactics, strategy, game play, clanning, review or preview games, and the list goes on!
If the game you play is not currently on the list, you can ask that is be added the suggestion forum. Overtime, we will add sub forums to the current forums for traffic control, however at this point, that will be to far spread.
Many people try to startup a site and don’t end up putting the time they need into it or have the help to maintain it. The staff at GamersUnion represents themselves in a dignified manner, so you know it will be a place to enjoy for all. We have three staff members to maintain the forums and website as well as help users with any problems they are experiencing. We have two other staff members, whose main job is to promote the website, exposing it more to bring all the fun in! I am confident that this site will grow.
Each and every game forum will need a moderator to watch over that particular forum. Users who make their best effort to post and also bring in new members will be given mod status, if they choose. Previous projects such as this ended up with thousands and thousands of users! Join us from the beginning and us to will grow.
We also have numerous other forums which deal with other things of interesting discussion such as cars, jokes, politics, and intelligent issues. Be sure to join us in one of these forums.
Any questions or suggestions that you have can be directed to http://gamersunion.org in the suggestion area. If you wish to become staff, you can post so in the forum titled “Join our staff�. If you wish to affiliate, please contact me. In no time, GamersUnion will be a major area on the net!
And yes, C&C is included.

Just what the world needs, more shitty ass forums from a shitty ass premade template with a wide range of topics that might attract someone's attention for 5 seconds before saying, "this sucks" I clicked the link, saw a forum and left.

Great effort, but, it's too late to be getting into the "general gamer" type of forum. Most gamers already have a community that they belong to.
NOTE: Reduce the amount of forums you have untill you have more members.

Start off by making a website first. Creating a forum and expecting people to join is the wrong way to go.
Create a site, have content on it, get some friends to update it and expand it with you and only after you have people visiting your site will lots people be compelled to join your forum for discussion etc.
And I agree with xptek IF that is a primarily C&C site. But you said it isn't and would not be.

Cow, shut up you know nothing.
Generals Elite was my only other real site that I had. I had to shut it down for some major personal issues which you know nothing, i repeat, NOTHING, about. So grow the hell up and stop acting like you know everything, it's rediculas. And before I get another nasty rude comment on the personal issues as I stated earlier, they were beyond my control. I left my state for 2 months, why leave a site up for 2 months without any updates and no one to do anything with it?
Now, I don't know why I keep defending myself to the likes of you, but I have had a clan now for 6 months I think and it is going really steady and I don't plan on stopping.
Thanks to the rest of you who tried to offer suggestions. TO the other people who made more rude marks, some of you need to grow the hell up and get over yourselves. Renegade has turned into a bunch of childish factions, who if you don't suck up to, treat you like crap. Its retarded why don't people act their age.
