Just wondering, given that I've set Renguard to run the automated downloads how will this work with Pure mode servers.

Cool, that was my only worry. Just out of curiousity wil the alterations disable for pure mode or will pure mode servers be running them?

Well, if, by definition, Pure Mode is supposed to be what Westwood created RenGuard for, then fixing their bugs should be allowed in Pure Mode. Anything added that wasn't intended would be optional.
