We have had a FDS server on GSA on and off for about 2 years now and it is just about always full cause it was hosted on a T3 and had almost no lag. But since we laoded Renguard (GOD love it) we cant seam to get any players on our server. Seams they all need Renguard and need to install it. When I tell them to get it they all say it sucks and has bugs. In our clan we have had a couple problems with it but nothing we couldnt fix and I installed it and have updated it without any probelms. I guess my question is do most these people not like Renguard cause they cant cheat anymore or maybe they just cant read to install it or maybe they just too lazy to go to http://www.renguard.com and download it. I dont know but can anyone help me out and let me know if I should take Renguard off the FDS to get it full of players again or should I keep it on in support of the anti cheat that so many have worked hard to make?

I am standing firm on leaving it on my server. There aren't enough of the people who AREN'T having problems posting about it. All you hear are the bad things. It's the nature of all things...

I have seen full GSA servers that require RenGuard just yesterday. It is going to take time..

Tell anyone who says it sucks or having problems to go to renguard.com and get the new beta and become a beta tester so that they can ensure that it works for them and others. We are making RG for the community...if it "sucks" or "has bugs" for someone we will fix it but first we must know about the problems.

I felt the same way about leaving it on the server and I will continue to leave it on. Like I said I personally have not had one problem with it except it tells me I cant play on pure servers and have skins loaded ( I dont) but I can play when I click Renegade. One more question.. it keeps telling me they need Renguard but not once has it said they needed to unload the skins and get kicked. everyone says "you need Renguard to play on this server" What if its not a pure server will skins be allowed? NAd how the heck tdo I tell if my server is pure or not? (I must be a n00b to ask suck a question)

A pure server needs renguard too, obviously.
It says "[player] is being kicked by RenGuard for: Skins are not allowed on this Server" - or something like that. Additionally, it displays the same message in the client window, so the user actually knows whats going on. He cant miss that message!

Try adding a message to your MOTD. I have had a large improvement since I did that. What usually happens is the player joins, closes the MOTD, gets two messages, then the boot. Then he realizes that MOTD must have been important. He comes back, reads the message, leaves before being kicked, and comes back about 5 minutes later, ready to play.
My MOTD is set as:
This server requires RENGUARD anti-cheat. Get it: http://www.renguard.com
I'm the bawss.

Dont know why but tonight I tried to get on WOL to test Renguard and it just wasnt responding. I rebooted and trued on GSA and all I got was not responding. I uninstalled Renguard and reinstalled and still (not responding) so I had to delete it to play a game
