Hi
I've been using Renguard 1.01 at home, no problems, but its on a laptop and at work we have a different firewall config. Renegade works fine, and gamespy, but when I start Renguard it just sits there forever, nothing drawn in the window. Our proxy uses port 8080.
Any suggestions?
Worth trying the 1.02 beta?
Thanks
Jez

I have the same problem as you, i talked to mac yesterday in irc and he didnt have any solutions to it either. I just moved back to uni where i have a proxy connection.
I load up renegade, it hangs and then finally tells me after about 2 minutes that its failed since it couldnt connect to the internet. I can still play renny without renguard, but if i try and use renguard it doesnt work.
I hope this issue can be fixed so those of us on proxy connections can play.

to my knowledge, RenGuard so far does not support proxy connections. i have not seen nor heard of any of this specific coding inside the application.
