If your experiencing problems with the RenGuard 1.01 installer and the RenGuard 1.01 itself while trying to launch the game then you should try the following:

- Uninstall RenGuard 1.01 via control panel> add remove software

- Install RenGuard 1.0

- Run Renegade as usual and RenGuard should popup, wait for it to autoupdate itself to version 1.01, after this there SHOULD be no problems.

This 'workaround' worked for quite a few people really. So please give this a try.
