my renguard updated fine, but now when click on ren it opens renguard and quickly minimizes to notification area. when try to click on it to open it so can start renegade it shuts down before i can click on it. any idea what problem is?

dsl straight from the modem


So you're using Windows to connect to your DSL, that's RAS.. okay.. will look for a solution.

Also, what OS are you running? If Windows XP, what service pack?

Ok, I'm running on the same system as Adnecles & I reinstalled RG, I went to launch it, worked fine, then it did an auto-update & now it keeps crashing about 5 secs after the window first comes up. I even had someone witness it cuz it's kinda eerie.
For some reason it worked fine on my Windows2000 comp but neither of my XP systems, both of which are SP1.
Plz help Crying or Very Sad

I have the same system specifications and the same problem... looks like this bug only existes for XP users with DSL... well that would be rather many persons then :S

But it DOES work! After 20mins or so, althrough Windows tells u that it crashed.

It's not just DSL, I think it's a prob with SP1 for XP & RG Crying or Very Sad

I've done the same, so don't think you're the only one, believe in the RG team & they will get it fixed, just give them some time Cool
