Fix:

Set a plaername in ASE options

And set your ASE Renegade executable to game.exe

That should work. Thanks Dante.

Then why are you hosting servers on WOL? Arent you contradicting yourself now a bit....

First of all : Open your gamespy and close all the fucking popups you may get. (lol Razz

Maybe in your gamespy options @ Renegade, it points to the Renegade.exe ? This COULD (dunno) prevent RenGuard from showing up?

I used RG icw GSA myself too two days ago or something i just right-clicked the server and choose Connect to server and everything went ok.

This should work for ASE too as it uses the same cmd-line to lanch renegade.
Try joining the server WITHOUT RenGuard first, once your on the server then close Renegade again. Now start RenGuard and THEN try to join that server again. I know its kinda :uhhrrm ok: but then again: for GSA/ASE you must restart RenGuard and the Game anyway rotfl with WOL you dont have this crap.

it wont work because WOL is down

and for u guys that say WOL goes down every day it dosent it hardly ever goes down and it is much better than game spy
