Hi,
Since I D/L RenGuard I have found that the standard key that I always bind to "Crouch" the "F" key does not work when you are flying. You do indeed crouch when not in a vehicle but it does NOT make the Orca go down any more.
The FIX that I used was to enter "F" in the SECOND Column for controls so "F" is selected in both columns for "crouch". This solves the problem and "F" works for crouching AND will make a flying vehicle go down.
My other basic keystrokes are:
D - Left
F - Crouch
G - Right
S - Alt Fire
A - Use
R - Reload
Mouse middle button for forwards.
Mouse right button for backwards
Mouse left button for fire
Wheelup - Zoom in sniper mode (NOT to change weapons)
Wheeldown - Zoomout in Sniper mode
And yes I use 2 mice, a PS2 3 button logitech trackman marble for normal and a USB trackman marble wheel mouse for when I am sniping
There are other keys bound but they are the standard settings
and ihave the latest Logitech drivers.

Thanks Crimson,
Hmm, the only other thing that has changed is that I had to re-install Renegade as I had a major crash and had to reload Windows XP Pro again on top of the existing system. I was pretty careful about using my standard keystrokes BUT it is possible that I did not clean out all the other options in the second key binding column. Initially long long ago when I first got Renegade I had a similar problem with bindings not working and I cleaned out everything non-essential in the second Control bindings column. If it was not caused by RenGuard then that is the only other potential problem cause that I can think of.
I do like RenGuard and would like to thank you guys for working so hard to make it work!
I have found that it is a bit of a pain to unload it when you change servers but was pleased to see in another thread that you are looking at a popup screen when you exit Renegade.
Question: If I were to save a copy of the Game.exe for Renguard and then rename the second one back to Game.exe would I be OK running in a "Non-Renguard" environment? The reason that I ask is that I am planning a LAN Party at the end of May and plan to have between 24 and 30 participants and am not sure if we can run Renegade on my server (with RenGuard installed) without having all the players running RenGuard. We CAN have the internet access open but my preference is to have it shut off as sometimes people get lost surfing when I would prefer them all to be gaming. I am presuming that the RenGuard that I installed for my gaming use is the same version that I would need on the LAN Server. (A differernt machine - my laptop - running as a dedicated Renegade server.)
Thanks again!
Wiz
