Just a short little rant, because this has been happening to me more and more frequently and frankly it just pisses the hell outta me.
As if it weren't bad enough that people call the house when the person they're calling isn't there- and I end up picking up the phone- they have the nerve to put me on hold. Uhm...ok, YOU are calling ME. It is at MY inconvenience, and YOU chose to do it. Why should I have to wait for several minutes while YOU answer another call? I don't give a flying fuck how important the other caller is, or what you have to say to them, you were talking to me FIRST.
Look, people, if you call someone, will you please just take the fucking time to talk to them? They certainly don't want to sit there talking to your hold music while you're off doing something else. If you can't learn to take one call at a time, then don't use a fucking phone.
[/rant]
I think I'm just gonna start hanging up on these fucktards whenever I get put on hold...
"Arms discourage and keep the invader and plunderer in awe, and preserve order in the world as well as property. Horrid mischief would ensue were (the law-abiding) deprived of the use of them." - Thomas Paine
Remember, kids: illiteracy is cool. If you took the time to read this, you are clearly a loser who will never get laid. You've been warned.

I pretty much never answer Call Waiting. I just use it as a notification that I need to call someone when I'm done with the one I'm talking to. I hate that almost as much as I hate when I'm with a friend and they talk on their cell phone (unless it's an important conversation pertaining to what we're doing).
I'm the bawss.

I (or rather: my parents) don't have a phone with a queue, so that's not really relevant
People who dial the wrong number and then just hang up without apologising or anything should be shot, however.
