Will come out today. Also for Linux Smile

Fixes the common problem that you get kicked by RG if you have RG installed, and introduces serial hash banning by brenbot, and adds the !rglocate command to brenbot.

IP banning is inferior to Serial banning.
An ip you could possibly change within 5 minutes, a serial number, Very Happy you cant Very Happy , so after today i hope we can permanently ban those fucktards from our 'loved-renegade-network' Smile Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Laughing

IP banning is an alternative to serial banning.

i know its possible to change your Encrypted Serial, i just tend to not share this and just say its not possible. Now , for the readers of this topic who dont know yet, will probably look for it now. Very nice gibberish.

The lazy people wont look for stuff they believe is not possible, they will look for it once someone reveiled it IS possible.

We have been here before, if you don't want information shared don't post anything about it. If I know some information is incorrect I will correct it.
Additionally if I can figure it out so can someone else so theres some chance they would have corrected you too.

1.34 was just a maintanenace release that had to be released ASAP.. doesn't contain much other than fixes..

We've been running BrenBot 1.33 wSCC 1.0 since RenGuards release.
A few server lock-ups since may not be related, but,
Is it recommended to replace it with 1.34 / SCC 1.01?

Yes its recommended.
You can continue run the SSC but you have to disable the RenGuard module which comes integrated with BRenBot 1.34 by doing: !set RenGuard off from IRC.

BRenBot 1.34 not only includes RenGuard support, also alot of bugfixes have been applied in this version.
