Isnt there away to get around this FDS Serial thing?? Like cant soemoen make a program were you dont need them, or a generator of some kind that works? It seems people are starting to need them look at the forums, http://www.hostvirus.com can host many more renegade servers but we dont have any more FDS serials, we need to get around this for the entire community.

A keygen wouldn't be possible because the serials seem to be validated by WOL. So, if you generated a working serial, you would be stealing someone else's.

nop u wouldnt cuz the keygen would be generate new serials that are unused. maybe some serials get duped but not much. :rolleyes:

or i am wrong? Question

No, EA has a database of valid serials they use. So, if you generate a working one, it'll belong to someone else.

A keygen would produce thousands of valid serials, but the WOL servers wouldn't allow them all.

The chances that you would produce a key that WOL accepts, let alone produce someone else's key, is very slim.

Unless WOL accepts any valid serial. But there is no way of knowing that because nobody has ever used a serial generated by something other than WOL.

Cow, I'm looking at getting hosting from you guys but I already have a serial. But, if I use hostvirus I don't want them stealing it and using it on other servers. Razz

? lol were not gonna steal anything, were not liek that. If we had a serial taht you sold to us, we would only use it for one gameserver, or if u want us to host u an gameserver, u give it to us and then pay the montly fee only on your server it will not be used multiple tiems.

PS: If yoru getting webhosting get in touch with me over AIM or IRC. We usally give soemthing free, like if u get a gameserver we will give u webspace for a while for free but limeted Smile Ill see what i can do if u get in touch.

Pretty much...

But I often hear people say "Well I just recieved a serial a few hours ago" or something along those lines.

So there is still a chance I guess.
