Recruit

Hey.. I haven't played Renegade in quite a while. I have it uninstalled and I am thinking about reinstalling it. I was wondering if people are still cheating lots on it, that's the reason I quit. If there are cheats still available, do lots of people use them. If so, I think I won't re install it. When I say lots of people use them, I mean like 1 in every two servers. Please reply. Thanks!

That's cool. But can't people just not run it and still cheat in a server that some people are using Renguard? Is there a way to tell if a player is using Renguard or not?

the servers that RenGuard only let you play if you have RenGuard. so you can't play on a server with RG without having the client-side version for yourself.

You can also play on non-RenGuard servers with RenGuard, but you having RenGuard doesn't help with preventing cheaters.
