smwScott | The Cocks Suck!
Lol, gotta love the GTA3 pedestrians. And GTA is a great game, not nearly as violent as people make it out to be. In both games I only remember hearing like one "fuck" and they said other curse words fairly sparingly compared to the Getaway (which probably dropped the F bomb more than "the")...............it makes more sense to take away the damn gun than the game...

First off, what are "The Cocks?" I'm totally lost here.
Second, I played GTA: Vice City, watched it for long periods of time, played it, and even TRIED liking it. It was hopeless. GTA is still one of the worst games out there. Unlike a game like, let's say Morrowind, where you can be anybody from a career criminal, to a noble Dudley-Do-Right. I love Morrowind, does that make me a hypocrite? Not one bit, I like the "freedom" of the game, be whoever you want. The reason I don't like GTA is because you have to be "bad". I want the option of being a righteous mob-killer.
Third, don't start with gun control, it only increases crime, and it's been proven time after time. Did you know that guns are used in four times more in self-defense than in crime?
So the point is though I loathe GTA, I'm not going to force them to not use it. Think of it, what if they hated Renegade and tried to force me to not play it? And also, moderation and common sense is the key to avoiding "addiction."

In GTA3 the football team is the cocks, which is obviously innuendo. If you listen to the pedestrians outside the stadium they say things like "COCKS RULE," and "COCKS SUCK."
And you don't like GTA3 because it doesn't give you enough options? That's a new one, it's a very open ended game. However, it still has a linear plot that involves you not being a very nice guy. I like this because it provides for a different plot rather then the branching stuff, which is usually crap.
And as far as gun control, there are plenty of examples where it has drastically decreased murder rates, mainly England. There is no proof it doesn't work, as it hasn't been tried in the US. The only thing which could be used as evidence of how it works is how it affected other countries - which generally shows that it drastically improves the crime rates.

Lowered? Umm, No? You are 6 times more likely to get mugged in London than in New York. Besides, in England you can get in trouble for even having a walking stick or pocket knife.
God is the "0wnage". Plain and Simple.

Uh ... I find that mugging statistic very hard to believe. I can think of four people I know that have visited New York and two of them got mugged. If you have any reference for this it would be greatly appreciated, and would give your argument some validity.
England has under 100 gun related homocides a year, and much lower murder rate. I have seen this on various news stories, but a specific reference is Bowling for Columbine.
