Can renguard only be used on a dedicated server? or can we host our own games and use it there too?

Well im from the clan community over at clanwars.cc. Most of us arnt rich enough to afford dedicated servers and since westwood/ea stopped handing out serial numbers for there fds cheating is still going to be a large part of the clan community.

Well, I don't really think you have to run a dedicated server for this. You just have to be using the FDS.

It's all but impossible to do any regulation on non-dedicated servers as they do not do console logging nor remote administration like the FDS.

There might be some hope of this if Vloktboky releases his code to identify users, without that I agree with Blazer.
