Let me ask you this: Why almost everi computer in the world uses Windows Confused

? Is it so hard for some other company to create something else or something similar that would be compatible with windows and other programs? Almost everibody knows that Windows sucks. It is like if everi car used the same engine, and almost no one would even dream of creating other engines, except maybe few that would be incopatible with the cars that use the first engine. I know that compatibility is a big issue, but look at CD-Roms: Every CD-Rom drive (made by any company)can read almost all kinds of CDs made by different companies. If this works with CD-Rom drives, it should work with Windows, and any other OS.
P.S: I don't know much about programming, but someday I will learn all about it.
