I am trying to get my two usb ports that came with my case to work. i found where i need to place everything except for a green plug. it seems like it needs that plug to work because my computer isn't recognizing my hardware.

my tower is a scorpio (http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=588181&Sku=A451-3001&CatId=342)

any help would be appreciated.

i think i have it plugged in correctly, but there is a green plug that just kinda is there. on the plug's cable it says "28AWG Computer Cable" Would that have anything to do with the usb ports? if not, then i have the usb ports plugged in wrong.

Edit: Maybe if I remove that ground from the pin...hmmm....might just work.
Edit²: Of course not. Why would anything work.

ok an IT guys steps up to the plate

its not regcognized prolly cause its usb 2.0 and windows xp does not regcognize it,

you need to install the drivers in the hardwear manager that came with your main board cd or contact your mobo maker to get the drivers (websight)

you may need to install it as administrator in safe mode

but if anthing they should work like usb 1.1
