i cant get the DS to show up over a lan, anyone got any ideas on how to set up this. i downloaded and installed the whole thing, but dont know how to get it to show up.
i changed the GameType = LAN as well

i am using a set of linksys routers, all the other games im running work, just not this one.
and when it starts running it keeps trying to contact the outside master server and everything

Something is wrong with your FDS setup,
In lan mode it doesn't try to contact external servers it just broadcasts to the network address.

thats what i figured, thanks
is there any special setup or what? i just ran through the setup wizard and then applied the patch and this is what happend

thanks for the help but i figured it out, i had changed gametype in server.ini but not in gamespy.ini
i changed it in that as well and it worked.
