Not even back for a solid month and everyone (at least on the politics forum) deslikes you.

Jesus man! It shouldn't have taken more than a week! Slacker.

But seriously, I ask a question ....actually came across a site on 'shrub' while looking for Kerry's military record (I was curious as to where John Kerry served, how long, etc) and found out from a site at least what appeared to be an interesting tidbit of information. That our 'Shrub' may not have completed his Term of service in the military. And all I got in return was "what about Kerry?" and at least one attack on me.

I made an obvservation and not ONE post was about what I said only posts attacking Clinton and Kerry (for the record I did not vote for Clinton either time). It seems that intelligent discourse on certain issues won't happen on that forum but I will still try to ask questions just see the responses.

I will take a God-fearing man motivated to action by the murder of 3000 of his countrymen over a politically maneuvering weasel anyday.

This is the kind of man the world needs. Not a weakling, but a man motivated by the passion of seeing right is done. No matter what the cost. I would have been proud to serve this President. I had the dubious honor of serving Clinton.

This man has vision, purpose, guts, and a long memory.

Someone had to take this looming problem head on. It isn't that terrorism reacted to an unfair attack. We forced thier hand before they were ready to more damage than they did.

As an American I expect a government that will protect my children, and bring the fight to the scum that are destroying what is left of a great country, and the world. I expect a leader with the guts to go it alone when the weak, corrupt, and pathetic are immobilized with fear.

I am a veteran, and I do not approve of weaseling out of military service. But he sure as hell has made up for it by killing the enemies of The United States of America. I did complete my service. I wouldn't take his job or responsibility for anything in the world. It takes a special, strong man to do that, and hold the line.

So it is ok for him 'to weasel out' (your words not mine) when many of america's children died because they didn't have a daddy or connectiosn who could get them out of it?

How is this different from Clinton going to Oxford to get out of his term?

How was Clinton's use of drugs different from Bushes?

You can't condemn someone for their actions when the person you are putting on a pedestal is no different.

You guys really need to see th shambles that the State of Texas is in right now. Schools are closing because fo the Deficit that "shrub' left behind, social services are at an all time low. There is not enough money to put the required number of Firefighters on Trucks in Houston. Massive public works that were enacted when 'shrub' was here put money into the hands of his politicval contributors (can you say Halliburton, Enron, Dynegy, Exxon-Mobile .... man the list could go on).

Tell me why the legislation that he enacted in this state for school reform meant that teachers would be teaching the students on how to take the ... tasp, tax, tass instead of teaching teh kids. They teach them for half the year on these damn things. Most of the kids in my daughter's school have trouble and are not learning the basic stuff they need. Today's teachers evaluations are about how many of their kids pass those damned tests and not how effectively they get across basic skills.

But wait you guys couldn't about that. You only care if someone else is dying for your principles ... like the Spanish? Oh. thats right fuck them they don't want to have anything to do with 'Shrub's' campaign on terror. they only want to have peace and be left alone.

But all that is ok if you get elected President.

I put my own life on the line to defend those principles in the very same arenas. Don't lecture me on others doing it for me. I did it for them, they can do it for me.

The Spanish will suffer just as every other country will. Russia, Bosnia, France, Britain, etc, etc, etc... They will all suffer for thier hold to Western principles of freedom. Freedom has a price.

The Spanish decision to bail on the war on terror is weakness in it's most pathetic form. What if American soldiers had given up and said "we just want to live in peace and be left alone." in WW2?

Stand up for what is right, and good. Sacrifice for the greater good, and screw your self interest.

Also, the man Bush was is CLEARLY not the man he is now. He is a man tested by the fire of the reality of a world at war. This election is not about 40 year old screwups. It's about finishing what we've started. Bush is the man for the job.

School systems EVERYWHERE are screwed. Not just Texas. And corporate interests will always take advantage of public. It is not his fault greed pervades a capitalist society.

Clinton was, and is still a weasel.

How many times has GW disgraced the oval office with interns, and cigars? How many times has he cheated on his wife? How often has he faced inquiry and possible impeachment? He believes in being accountable to God for what he does here as leader of a country BASED on Christian principles.

See, that's the difference and I think Democrats would do well not to compare a tail hunting, turncoat with a man who has such high standards.

Making war is ok?

Correct me if I am wrong here but did n;t Jesus say something about love thy neighbor: I do not really recall a passage about smart bombs.

OK on to finishing the war on terror. Terrorism is at an all time high for gthe year as far as incidents goes it is estimated taht recruits have increased to the various active organizartions some 300 % over a year ago. I got news for you Kirby we are in it for a long time coming.

Comparing the war on terror to Nazism and WWII is sort of week. that would be like saying the government new about Pearl Harbor and withheld that info ... OOPs they did.

Raveshaw said something in one of those old flame wars that struck me as particularly insightfull but as usual he was flamed down.

Just who appointed the US the police force for teh world? You know until we amde war on a nother counrty without provocation we hheld the moral high road. Now the truth comes out we relied on itnel from people who had axes to grind and from people who no direct knowledge of WMD or a direct link from Iraq to Al Quaida

SO we finace the war with Iran the Iraquis had, You do remember that right? So we created some of the very problems your boy is sovling and who did that a repooplican adn not content with that Ronny played both ends against the middle by suppying I-Hawk to the Irans and money.

And for the record you donlt seem to remeber me slamming on Clinton too. 'Shrub' left Texas in a shambles the US economy is in peril, jobs being sent over seas, reneging on treaty accords to benfit big business the creation of an all powerfull 'Big Brother'

What is going to take before you wake up and realize " where did the country I love go to?"

and MRBoB STFU I make my own decisions based on what I understand and what I nkow to be right so go fuck yourself and trifle the adults no more

Oh and one more thing a duly elected official of a foriegh government did what he percieved was the right thing in pulling his troops out of Iraq. YOu would do well to remeber that is democracy in action

uhh...i'm not gonna discuss politics, but yeah, making war is ok. God did, afterall, lead the Jews into the promissed land by having a war with Caanan, and how about Jerhico (no violence, but still a "war") and there are plenty of other instances where there are wars. Maybe you've heard of this war, the Apocalypse. The Apocalypse is a war that's gonna be fought by Jesus and his army against the world's army. So although he said love thy neighbor, he's also going to be the one to destroy the world's army in a war.

whoa.
