I am starting to get tired of my 10GB hard drive. I want AT LEAST a 20...I don't really think I need any more than an 80GB. Does anyone know of where I can get hard drives for cheap and are quality hard drives? Thank you for your assistance.

Try http://www.newegg.com, they have the best prices on good drives i''ve seen.
They also have free shipping on most stuff.
As for the drive itself i'd recommend a 60 or 80gb Western digiatal JB model drive.

Tigerdirect? How much was shipping? $20? You can't buy anything from tigerdirect because the shipping is too much. They have a deal at office max that comes around 80gb western digital 7200 rpm 8mb buffer for $20 after rebate. That's the shit.

I said I wouldn't fill a 40GB when I had my 20GB one, but since I installed my 123GB drive I am now using around 80GB of it. So much more 'freedom' with a bigger drive, you don't have to conserve space as much.

I also said i wouldn't fill my primary 60GB drive... but then i did.
So i bought a new 80GB, thinking i'd never fill that up... but of course i was wrong.
A secondary D:\ hard drive is extremely useful when it comes to formatting your C:\ though. No need to backup all your stuff to CD.
A few years back, i never thought i'd fill up my 3.2GB drive. Back then all you had saved were office documents, small images and a few websites. Just shows how things change with all the space intensive digital media we have today.
If i were you, i'd plan ahead and get one at least twice the size that you think you need.

Shipping was only $11.70 us for UPS ground, took 3 days to arrive. And the shipping was for the hard drive, a chieftec super tower case, powersupply, MB and CPU.
Don't take their default 2nd day air UPS, ground is just as fast and a whole lot cheaper.
And even with the shipping, what I spent overall was close to $100 cheaper than anywhere else I found.

i reside in the states. personally...i have the capability to keep my space usage low. i have about 7GB left of my 9.48 possible and have downloaded files like mad. so a 20gb would be plenty...but i don't want to have to limit myself with that in case i do need more.
