there's nothing at the URL. I even looked at the source and there was nothing.

If you're getting a 404, keep refreshing it.. DNS wasn't all that great, and the page did not even come up.
However, if you DO get a page (with a nice orange background) then everything you need is there.

If the safe had 3 numbers, the combo would be "404".

That would have actually been a hell of a lot more ingenious to do! People would continually think they can't solve the puzzle because they can't get to the damn page!.. I think it would take longer to make the connection.
