What's everyone listening to? For me, my signature tells me what I am listening to or last listened on Winamp. But that is not all I listen to, as I have a collection of CDs too.

I'm a metalhead. I love progressive metal and experimental stuff...

Currently, I am really digging Dream Theater. If you haven't heard of them, they're a 5 piece progressive metal band and have just released their new album on November of last year.

Other than that, I like bands such as A Perfect Circle, Metallica, Led Zeppelin, Radiohead, Deftones, Opeth and much more to name

On the opposite end, I hate pop, most of nu-metal and pop-punk.

So just out of curiousity, what does everyone else here listens to?

I like hardrock, metal, heavy metal, death metal, grind core etc.. but DON'T LIKE: punk, pop, trance, hardcore, R&b, nu-metal.
some good bands (I'm not going to write all the good bands I know, because that will take ages):

iron maiden
metallica
slayer
cannibal corpse
nasum
blind guardian
pantera
six feet under
death
kreator
nile
megadeth
napalm death
overkill
maggots
bloodboil
sepultura
children of bodom
grave digger
inflames
grave
dying fetus
skinless
arch enemy
pig destroyer
gronibard
hate plow
blood duster
pro pain
carcass
vader
biohazard
backfire
ac/dc

so infact, I like alot of music, "soft music" like iron maiden and metallica, and I also like "loud music" like cannibal corpse and skinless.

enjoy Smile

hehehehe... A lot of people dislike metal though. It's just very different than R&B or so. Metal is getting disliked because no radio station or tv-channel promotes or presents it. all you hear on the radio is R&B and POP and such.

i'll mix in a little punk rock and some classic rock...but my main focus is the good ol' rap. jay-z, nelly, murphy lee, g-unit, 50 cent, eminem, ludacris, dmx, and a few others. i've come along way from liking hanson, britney spears, and backstreet boys (i still am embarassed about those elementary days).

whoa.

I mostly listen to Rage Against the Machine and System of a Down.

Oh, and I 50 Cent. His lyrics are so incredibly uninspired and rude.

"To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public." -- Theodore Roosevelt (1918)

"The danger to political dissent is acute where the Government attempts to act under so vague a concept as the power to protect "domestic security." Given the difficulty of defining the domestic security interest, the danger of abuse in acting to protect that interest becomes apparent. --U.S. Supreme Court decision (407 U.S. 297 (1972)

have you heard of Liquid Tension Experiment? If you haven't, they're an instrumental band with Portnoy, Petrucci and Rudess (all from DT) and a bassist whose name I can't recall.

They're great too...
