2 that I've yet to see released.
1. Teampseak-Renegade, something about the auto joining channel thing.
2. A while back mac said he was working on a program to record Renegade games and you could look around the map anywhere on the recording.

Just wondering what happened to these :/

I heard about the Teamspeak long ago when I still payed 24/7. I dunno what happened to it, but it woulda been a cool feature to have.

2. I can only imagine (and this is a guess) that this was stopped because it was made by intercepting the packets sent between the players and server, saving the packet sequence, then forwarding the whole sequence back to a dummy server.

With all these cheats going round right now, i think it's safe to say we don't want another way for people to cheat Renegade.

about macs program.

Basicly he was stuck at a certain part, but just recently he has discovered a a whole bunch of new techniques and ways of doing things.

He can't put these new things into use as of yet due to him being busy with RenGuard and other such projects. But im sure once he has cleared out the bulk of the work load he'll be coming back to it.

So basicly the recorder is on pause for now.

Im sure he can tell you more.

I'd like to know more about this in-game recording feature.

anyway you could share some info about this with us?

I realized you posted about this ages ago...and finally found it thru the search function.

It's been on hold for a while. I don't have time to work on this, and there are a few problems why it wouldn't work for a normal user. Need a little more research to make it happen.

For netcode research I use this utility on a regular basis. It's great for recording simple actions and playing them back. However, for longer sequences it becomes a problem.
