My friend just bought the game so I decided to play with him. So I add him to my list, spelling it case sensitve on the buddy list, then I try to page him. IT says he's offline, but when I join the game, he's in there. The ranks on the buddy list never update too. Something tells me EA is to lazy to fix something...

WOL's just running in to normal problems that need to be fixed by companies. It's called maintenance. And EA doesn't want to do it.

Lets say you play a game, you quit - no game listings got to restart since wol cut you off right? When you get cut off while playing from westwood you still are on the server. Now lets say someone wants to find you, well you've been cut of from wol. Says your offline. I doubt wol will ever be fixed.

I havent had any buddy list problems...and WOL seems to be connecting on first try now...was taking two trys to connect the past 3 weeks.
