I would imagine that they are preparing things to use against him in court. Whatever it is, it's not going to go good for Saddam.
Interesting thing, I have heard that a number of people in Iraq have offered to drink Saddam's blood, so I don't think that they like him very much.
I'm sure we'll hear about this pretty soon.
"To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public." -- Theodore Roosevelt (1918)
"The danger to political dissent is acute where the Government attempts to act under so vague a concept as the power to protect "domestic security." Given the difficulty of defining the domestic security interest, the danger of abuse in acting to protect that interest becomes apparent. --U.S. Supreme Court decision (407 U.S. 297 (1972)

Let the Iraqi people decide how Saddam gets punished(after holding a fair trial, of course, even if the skunk doesn't deserve it...just let them carry out the sentencing and execution). It's only fair; they're the ones who suffered the most under him. If that happens, however, don't expect much to be left of him afterwards.
"Arms discourage and keep the invader and plunderer in awe, and preserve order in the world as well as property. Horrid mischief would ensue were (the law-abiding) deprived of the use of them." - Thomas Paine
Remember, kids: illiteracy is cool. If you took the time to read this, you are clearly a loser who will never get laid. You've been warned.

Good luck finding an impartial jury. They all either want him dead or back in power.
