If there is no Game.exe in the RenAlert folder, you installed it wrong.
Here's how I finally got .992 to work:
1. Make a folder somewhere called RenAlertWinRAR.
2. Download .991, .9915, and .992 installers into the newly created folder.
3. Install .991 into C:\Westwood\RenAlert, I think RenAlert doesn't like being anywhere but this directory.
4. Now, patch .991 to .9915. This is very simple - just double-click on the installer.
5. NOW, double-click on the .992 patch until you get the screen to select the Game.exe file. Here, navigate to C:\Westwood\RenAlert and locate the Game.exe file in that folder. Now patch that file.
6. You might have to do this, might not. Go to the Start Menu and click on Run... Now, type in regedit and follow this path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE --> SOFTWARE --> Westwood --> RenAlert and click on Version in that folder. Now, make sure the version number is set to 1.
After that, RenAlert should run in .992.
