I have a short story Very Happy

One morning I woke up to see the back end a Ford Explorer sticking out of a ditch across the street from my house. The strange thing was it had gone off the left side of the road. It turns out a girl in my grade at school had put it there. The story she was coming by my house and decided to pass the car in front of her. Then they approach the hill which I have come to hate because of the accidents that end up happening in from of my house. So she decides that she will pass about the time she gets to the hill. Well, as luck would have it, another vehicle came over the hill coming from the other direction. The girl tried to accelerate even more to pass the car before coliding. At the point when she realized she wouldn't make it through she turned abruptly to the left and ended up in the ditch. She's lucky to be alive.
Also, she nearly hit me one day as I was leaving school.

Nice way to express the way you're sexist Dragon, woman drivers are just like any freaking male drivers, except that people make it worse...What I'm trying to mean is that male drivers and female drivers have the same accident ratio, but when a woman does something wrong, people are starting to say shit about them.

Women drivers actually do get into more accidents then men do, put they are mostly petty ones. Like denting the panels on another car. These still are accidents and they happen more frequently. Male drivers get in less accidents, but they total the car. It is just not enought to dent the car, but it is like a male gene to destroy something. Women get in tons of petty accidents that dont deserve to be call accidents, and men well.....crash and burn :twisted: *pun intended*

Time for me add some more. I was not intending for this to be a sexist post. I was lost for a topic title, but as I read the story all I could picture was some soccer mom driving her kid to school and not wanting to be late for her job.

But as a FF/EMT-P in the 12 years I've been doing this it is split 50/50 for male vs female accidents. Although I remember the female ones more than the male ones Laughing

I have been in 2 accidents.
My first accident... We were responding to a call and a 16 y/o decided she could ignore the pretty flashing red and white lights and the nice sounding horn and turn infront of the rig. I was driving. Lucky for her I slowed down expecting a dumbass move like that and we only suffered minor injuries.

My second one was my ball joint busting and me and my car going off a 10 foot high bridge. To this day I do not know how I escaped injury.

Well, Aprime, it seems to me that guys get into accidents because they go too fast and are careless. And women get into accidents cus they're so freaken oblivious to road signs and oncoming traffic. Not to say that there aren't really good female drivers, cus there are.
