Well I heard that renguard was nearing completion so I decided to get back in to Renegade and get practicing...

I have a problem when loading Renegade:

http://www.n00bstories.com/image.fetch.php?id=1168808802

Now if I replace Renegade.exe and Game.exe with a fresh install or some files copied after a fresh install it works...

The mystery being that after leaving Renegade for a while the .exe files seem to just grow in size Confused

Somebody suggested that it may be some spyware modifying my applications using a fpu mask or something similar, but I really have no clue.

Help! I have to reinstall Renegade every time I play it Sad

Does anybody know about this or know how I can stop it?

EDIT: OK, I fixed it Smile, it appears I had the w32 parite virus, its extremely hard to spot and Norton missed it... but a free anti-virus application lauebi gave me spotted it, I then used Panda Anti-Virus to get rid of it, I suggest Panda Anti-Virus to anybody who doesn't like all the cafuffle od Norton and such applications, and the screensaver that comes with it rawks Very Happy
