Just to let you know, on my p3 1ghz I was getting a full 60 fps while also running br.net, wolspy, and restat
On this celeron 2.4ghz, I'm getting like 30-45 sfps... Appears taht these celerons suck horribly for running the renegade fds. Anyway I'm ugprading to the superserver 2.4 next month I'll let you know how it goes see if there is any change in my server fps... damn celerons and their low cache...

Intel Celeron = cheap version of P4
just like the Duron is the cheap version of the Athalon, you get what you pay for, if the sfps is high, then don't worry about it.
i was able to host a 12 player server (usually full) on a PII 400 with 512m Ram, sfps was almost always around 50+
