When ever I start internet explorer the homepage changes to http://www.hugesearch.net, I set it to http://www.comcast.net. And It won't stay at comcast. I have deleted everything in the host file, I have run adaware and I have run Norton. I even just reinstalled windows(not reformat) Yet it still does this. Anyone know the problem?

I had a similar problem. First I uninstalled anything I didn't recognise in add/remove programs. I then ran Ad-Aware 6.0 with the latest update (important that you have the update). Then I rebooted into safe mode and ran ad-aware. Reboot into Windows XP - problem solved.
The safe-mode part is critical as it kills any processes that shouldn't be running. One last thing is to check the startup files. Start > Run > msconfig. Disable anything in the startup tab that looks suspicious. Not all spyware is picked up, especially if it's brand new or is rare. If that fails then maybe you need to re-format.

A mate of mine had something similar.
You need to delete some internet explorer keys from the registry, and run spyware prog.
Just running spyware will cause this problem to return.
If you type the name of your prblem search page into google and have a little bit of a search it will probably take you to a page detailing which keys to remove.
good luck.
