Yeah, so, last night I was playing in n00bsvr01 and these two guys [gse]hot_rod and nuclearfusion|k4t (something like that) decided they were dipshits.

First map: City Flying
I joined in this map. I didn't get a chance to do anything before it ended, but these two guys did pretty well on the map at the end.

Second map: Volcano
I was on GDI and we got spanked. No complaints about lag from anyone.

Third map: Canyon
We had a couple mobarts and our friend NuclearFusion was on GDI. We kept owning his tanks and the rest of GDI's tanks with our mobarts, and every time it was "lag" "lag" "lag"... so I told him "You didn't have a problem with lag when you were winning"... his reply "Yeah, it just started". Right, buddy...

Fourth map: Mesa
There two were on Nod. I tried in vain to hold the middle and we were left with two, maybe 3 mobarts pounding on the WF, and I happened to notice an unannounced light tank hitting the PP from the side. I alerted the team and several people came over to help, but they took it out. The game didn't last long after that... When we were down to just the WF, [gse]hot_rod decided he wanted to break my server rules and shoot through the WF glass. I ran into that room to see who it was in there and was instantly killed but at least I had my rule-breaker in the kill message. I tried to qkick "hot" and "rod" but both weren't unique enough. Before I could finish, the map ended.

Fifth map: Islands
hot_rod decides to call me "newb crimsson who can't handle getting ownt", that my rules are "not to kill crimsson", and Nuclear says I "change the rules to suit myself". Blazer banned them before they could get any further.

So, a message.
Ever since the server was brought online, it has been forbidden to shoot through the WF glass. I changed nothing. I didn't complain about being killed while he broke the rules, either. Nor did I complain the other times I died.

FOLLOW THE FUCKING RULES, guys... they are posted on my website. I only disallow exploits that favor one team over the other. Period. GDI doesn't have any glass to shoot into a building through, so Nod shouldn't, either.

I'm the bawss.

Sometimes, there literally IS lag on the server.

I remember one time I had the pleasure of playing a map where literally EVERYONE was "rubberbanding", and when I say everyone, I mean everyone was complaining about it.

Normally, I'll give you, it's fine, and the people who use it are using it as the lameoid excuse it has become associated with.

I'm sorry if I sound like Joe Normal, but just occasionally they're right.

1. I don't really understand this rule. Could you explain it with more details? What do you mean by WF glass? The glass that is inside the Weapons factory and shooting through it, or what?
Few more questions:
2. What is the obelisk "glitching"? Is it when you walk backwards toward the obelisk and it will not shoot?
3. What is "Base-to-Basing" (on the field map)?
Well that is it. Those rules are a bit hard to understand.

How can that be done? I have never seen anyone do that. Is it like the bug on the Islands which allows you to shoot Hand of Nod from the GDI base?

Shooting anything through the glass in the "garage" of the WF. For some reason it's not treated like normal glass and you can shoot directly at the PT for major damage. You also usually kill the engies inside way too easily. Like the one-hit kill like was done on me.

I don't think that works as well as it used to anymore... we are referring to standing on top of the hill on Hourglass where the obelisk shoots you but you don't die. This is usually done to distract the obelisk from shooting an incoming rush.

There's a spot in the mountains and a way to position an MRLS to shoot through the mountains into the ref. Others can shoot even more than just one building.

Why does everyone bitch so much about lag? It's part of playing on the Internet so you'll have to live with it.

Yes, lag is a pain-in-the-arse, but what does it matter? It's obvious that they're complaining because they got "owned" and don't want to admit it.

I've put up with loads of crap from lag (being a 56K player). But I don't really care if I get killed so often or can't do so well in a game. If you get so upset over not winning or can't bare losing, then you have a problem.

I agree that it's annoying when people say "lag kill" or something similar after being killed. Even though I've been "lag killed" many times, but don't really care enough to say anything.

Its a 1 hit kill through the glass because you hit people with tanks. With an art you can easily kill infantry in one shot.

lol, those n00bs.

not to sound like a pain here, but lately there was been a lot of "lag kills", like where you run around a corner and then you die. What you see on your screen is not what they see on their screen sumtimes, and they go all n00b on you say that your cheating cause you shot them around a corner. I was also in some games where the SFPS shot down to as low as 9, and stayed there =\

Hrm ya crimson I think the good gsa players are over powering the wol players... I think you banned them for breaking the rules, but also you didn't want them to play on their server because they are probably better than you and other wol players you are used to and you didn't want to play with higher competetion.

If I get killed from them breaking my rules, then that doesn't qualify as "ownt" now, does it? If I had a problem with GSA people, it's REALLY EASY to solve... I just right click my WOLSpy icon and click "Shut Down".
