Ok, explain me why should anyone teach you how when you can find a dozen of tutorials about it on the web and on the Adobe site?

That's what search engines are made for.

I think he means how to make it look like the Renegade logo, like how it has the scratches and stuff on it. . . I think that is what he means, I have looked a couple times for stuff on how to make lettering like on the Renegade logo but came up with nothing.

OT: Does anyone know what font is used on the Renegade logo, or a font that looks similar to it?

For the 100000th time, If you wish to duplicate the "rock" look of the renegade logo for making another logo, you must do it painstakingly by hand. Too lazy to quote directy from BR FAQ

We all know you would have to do it your self, but the questions is HOW? HOW do you make it look like it has scratches and stuff in it? That is the question. . .

OT: What font is used on the Renegade logo, the actual name of the font that was used?

Good, you do that. but the question still has not been answered and all your replies are that you would have to do it yourself which answeres nothing at all . . . HOW? WHAT?
HOW do you make it look like it has the scratches and indentations in it?

WHAT font could be used in the logo to make it look like the renegade one?

Just thought of something . . . who made the RenAlert logo because they have the scratches and indentaions and stuff like the Renegade logo does, the font used in the RenAlert logo also looks like the font used in the Renegade logo. Therefore the person who made the RenAlert one has the font and then added all the effects or they made each individual letter for the RenAlert logo.

Talk to Dante or Blazer, or track down the Artist from RenAlert. Thats the best I can do for you, but you still think that there is a renegade "font" but it DOES NOT EXIST!

You could have just said it didn't exist then instead of saying you would have to do all the work yourslf.

OT: Would anyone happen to know of a program I can download to make fonts? Just a trial version or something of some program? (I am gonna make a renegade font if I can figure it out)

The best tool I know how to make a new title for the Zero Hour/Renegade/Whatever title [it is not a font - more like artwork] is to use the Clone Stamp tool in Photoshop/Paint Shop Pro. The clone stamp has saved me sooooo much time tweaking artwork from the internet. [For the record, I never did negative things with tweaked art].

Clone stamp tool, what does it look like? Or where can I find it at? I use photoshop 7 if it matters. I think I know how to duplicate the look of it and am gonna try something today or tomorro.

EDIT: Made an E similar to the one on the Renegade logo, take a look took about half a min to do, not that hard actually first try also so with some practice I think I could do a bit better. http://www.n00bstories.com/image.fetch.php?id=1209148605

The image speaks for itself...

Agh, never used that tool before, or bothered to mess with it, but now that i figured out how to "duplicate" the effect myself using photoshop I won't need to use the stamp tool. The only thing that can be done to make it easier to do would to be creating a font based off of the renegade lettering, which I am gonna try and do some time soon, otherwise I will just make each individual letter and image.

If you do make a font out of the Renegade title, please let me know.

I probably will, I just need to get something first, Taximes started it, and I am going to finish it if I can figure out how to use the program. The program that will be used is Macromedia fontographer. I could make each individual letter for a logo though , it wouldn't take all that long really. Here's the latest thing I made http://www.n00bstories.com/image.fetch.php?id=1357451097
