thanks for all the critiques... i am actually not a young kid i am an old guy who slaves away each day working for the man.. i just did some drawings so I wanted to see what the responses would be. I really do appreciate all comments whether positive or negative.

You don't need to quote posts directly above yours, especially if they contain an image which everyone will have to load up twice because of your quote.

hehe.. you don't need to take offence, I didn't mean anything.
All I was saying was it's total common sence not to make ass look of your posts, and for the benefit of others, don't make their browsers fill up their cache by making them load an image twice for completely no reason. Your right -- quote whatever you want, I can only tell you why it's wrong, I don't moderate this forum. Just use your common sence.
And the reason people complain about big images is usually because of the size not how big it is. This forum already loads pretty slow for me, and I'm using 128k cable.. think how long it takes for 56k or lower. Some folks here are putting 50-60 Kb images in their signatures.. and a 56k downloads at a maximum rate of 5 Kb/sec, if that. They do compress text better than 128k's, though.

Your browser is smart enough to know it's the same image. It only downloads it once.

Didn't realise that, sorry ignore my post then.
and 150ms? Is that bad? Thought it was supposed to be about 30 or something, maybe that only applies to connections in the u.k. it would make sence to lag a little across continents.
