Okay so you can only join RenGuard servers if you have the application yourself. How about a feature that, when a player tries to join a renguard server and can't, a message is sent to him from the server host telling him/her to download renguard to play on it, and give the url of a site that they can download it from?
also, will there simply be a version mismatch blanked out text thing on servers for people without renguard looking at servers WITH renguard? If so, this idea is useless.

Yes, they will be kicked and paged with instructions on where to get RenGuard. For GSA servers, there will (I think) be a host message directed at the player then they will be kicked after a few seconds.
