Whenever i try to play on my own hosted server, renegade simply doesn't run. I know that there's a way to do this, and that it's trucky. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

1. start renny before you start the fds
2. get a sever elsewhere
3. host the game in renny if you want to play on your own serer without lag

hmmmm... if it doesnt run, thats bad. if it says "DEDICATED RENGADE SERVER" or something like and you have a gray screen then you just have to cahnge the settings, forget which ones though.

Unclick the box that says dedicated server in the host options.

your not supposed to run renegade and the FDS at the same time..
thats why it doesnt allow you to run renegade once the FDS has been launched

also only try this if you ahve a high spec machine.. shit machines wont handle it

launch renegade.. alt tab
luanch FDS

it will work choppy FPS and your server may lag pretty bad
