Renguard has the advantage here... they have there own sorce code... therefor they can change it, and update it faster then the crackers can crack it...
Hmm... on a side note, I think it would be a good idea to have multiple builds of renguard ready. So one is cracked, they can imidelty relese this next one to nullify the crackers efforts

Just to reiterate a few of the comments made by myself and others in previous posts.
There will probably be cheats written that will at least temporary bypass RenGuard.
However cheats will probably get written by one or two people and for a while they will remain in limited distribution. This is not a major problem since a Global ban of a couple of usernames will solve the problem.
When the cheats become widely distributed it becomes easier to obtain them and try to stop them.
However I would like to make the point that it is "technically" possible to write a cheat that can not be stopped, for example if one of the ex Westwood programmers decided to write a cheat. I am dam near certain they could write it in such a way that it would be impossible to stop.
PS Before I get flamed for this I comment I would like to point out that I haven't defined what said cheat would do.

I was once known as a cheater (From my lag cheat) I think I will call the program RENGUARD EXPOSED. And for all the flaming towards me, my lag cheat is gonna spread HAHAHAHAH! Didn't you guys know anything by now? Everything has a back door. So when RGE is countering RG, they're efforts will mean nothing! Also the Final Renegade hack can be counter but a price is gonna be payed. And how to activate my lag cheat, first you download any type of mod and open it with wordpad. Next you change the first line to **removed** then you play and will notice that people will hug walls. THe Final Renegade program was the same except you download the mod that gives inf health, ammo, high jump, and all weapons from CNC AMMO. And edit all to make it work for multiplayer. LOL if you wanna know who found this out find a player named Cloudie86. If you haven't heard of him go to the F0D forums or DOM forum and ask who he is. You can ban me all you want but it's not going to help as along as I'm a hacker.

Hmmmm......
I would take the DTG, IP, and message and report him to abuse@aol.net. I'm sure that would result in a phone call to his mother, lol.
For those of you out there that know anything about real hackers you will probably agree with me when I saw that #1 for the most part they dont readily admit it publically unless they feel threatened .... and #2 most of them dont speak in l33t-speak haha. Since they tend to be fairly educated folks they use english.
Anyway, I'm always here, too ... to help defend Renguard of course. When (if) it comes out, you know that I'll be trying to crack it and push the limits ---- but only to make it stronger.
Crimson, you remember my private message from awhile back expressing my interest in "stressing" the program upon release? I'm still open to that if you're interested. If you don't remember then let me know via private message and I'll get back to you.

Someone been watching too much matrix "Everything has a back door" (but that is not always true, everything is made with a back door, or can be made with a back door, i doubt these guys are gonna leave the back door open, they will Lock it!)
I remember hearing somthing like (or maybe it was in my sleep) that if someone managed to crack renguard, then they will just patch it..
When renguard is released (if it is released) i will be checking if it is crack proof, and there is really no such thing as hacking an exe or dll, this guy is probably gonna resort to notepad to open the files for renguard  .
