You have a modded file in your folder, remove it.

Clearly it seems you either have not read a mods instructions right or are trying to cheat!

Even cheats have readme's for a reason!

I hope you were just installing a mod wrong, and not cheating Wink

Indeed 'grammar', either way the only thing I know of is that some files that shouldnt be threre are there, no matter what they are you should remove them (keep a backup if there that improtant).

delete your hosts file?
usually in %windowsdir%\system32\drivers\etc or something like that. HOSTS, no extension.

If you can't find the mod file that's doing it just reinstall the game. It will clean out your data folder with just the required files to run the game, and Westwood levels. You may want to save your maps and the renegade 1.037 English patch before you do it though. It's a bastard size of a file to download.
