This is what I wrote on the Pits forum, so bear with me here.

Umbral927

This is a quick poem I wrote in her memory, after I had a haunting dream when I fell asleep at my keyboard. I was reading her blogspot, when she was commenting on the dreams of her mother beckoning for her....this time, she was beckoning for me...

In anycase, here's the poem:

Anthony Claros

In my Dreams

The wind shakes the leaves
as the sun disappears in the obscure horizon
I think of her, her radiant smile that illuminates
the world, her heart which could hold the love
of all humanity, the eyes that sparkled with the
joy and friendship of a mockingbird's lullabies
I shall only see
In my Dreams.

The spirits you lifted
the people you touched
the companionship you provided to those in need
Shall never be felt again
I hope they can see you
as I can see you
In my Dreams

The taste of salt in my mouth
is the aftertaste left from my flowing tears
After losing you
You put up a good fight
against unsurmountable odds
but now, the only place I can feel
the warm glow of your presence is
In my Dreams

Jesus, I'm sobbing as I type this. Excuse me while I get a tissue.

I lost my dad to the same last September. I cannot for a single second pretend that even that means I understand how it feels for Ack.

My deepest sympathy to all.

I'm sorry

If this happened to me I'll be telling everybody to screw off and stop trying to make things okay. I can't say I know how you feel cus I obviously don't, but remember you'll see her again just not for a very long time.
