I know that the basic recon has those standard physics settings that keep it upright no matter what the turning angle. But I dont have enough time on comp a day to just play around with one or 2 things. Anyone know the settings for the bike to make it "lean to the side" in turns?

Find out for yourself, it's only through experimentation that you learn. Not everything will be handed to you.

I spent two weeks finding out how to get the Recon Bikes to lean like they do now - I won't tell you how to do it because you won't ever learn if you don't use the tools.

I suggest you not try anything of the sort, posting up my personal settings or sending them to others constititues you being a thief... And they're not tolerated here.

I didnt post the settings...i just let him know how to view them.

Just play a map with recons...such as my Tib pit 3 press f8,E,then enter..while in a recon.

Youll see what you need there.

or view the .ddb of my map in Level edit and youll see the exact settings

Where do you think he got his settings from? He disassembled my levels to get his greedy little hands on the settings he wanted from them. Instead of spending the time to work on it for himself and learn first hand, he acts like a thief and takes whatever he wants.

So no, this isn't going to be tolerated here.

Wow it got unlocked?

Umm now that it is, I mean "generally" what would you set it at to get proper bike physics? In no way have I purposely tried to copy anyones settings.
edit I would repeatedly go in ren over and over testing if it werent for the fact that i have 2 hours a day at home ack... Idea

Big deal - If I find something out I like to tell people so they can do it. The whole mod community relies on people finding things out as we were provided with little information about using the modding tools in the first place.

Sure it took you time to figure out what works best but I bet a lot of other people including me have provided information that took us a long time to figure out.

If I had the same attitude, do you think renhelp.co.uk would even exist?

Do I care? I don't even use it. I rarely use any tutorials that were written by any fan as they have a lot of errors in them and aren't written properly most of the time.

Almost all of the tools I use are provided by Westwood in the HowTo folder, along with a few private tools I use.

does this mean you have something we don't? and if so, why don't you release it, unless you're just going to keep it for your own selfish needs.

Because I don't want to give it away? It's none of your fucking business as to whether I give you anything or not. Speaking of selfish, I give a lot to this place and I ask for little in return - yet you want more from me? I'm not stupid, I know how this works. "I give you something, you say "haha asshole I used you and now you can go fuck off now that I have what I wanted."

No.

Nothing, you won't get them... Especially not when you attack me and think I'm just going to let you people try and walk all over me.

No, it doesn't happen that way. Dug your own grave on this one... Hope you're happy.

Just out of curiosity, what would happen if I loaded BunkersTS in LAN mode and went to edit_vehicle? Wouldn't I see your settings for the bike?

I'm the bawss.

You'd only see the non-specific settings... The true lean settings aren't contained in the Edit_Vehicle command.
