Or is it just my server? How am I supposed to show the real client version?

Long time and well respected Renegade community member, programmer, modder and tester.

One possible explanation is that the 4.4 version number is comming from scripts devs (e.g. dblaney or jerad) running the latest scripts 4.x code which is what will become 4.4 at some point in the future and already has a 4.4 version number.

Yeah but I'm using Slabot made by sla.ro(master) so maybe it's that bot.

On the fds itself run the version console command and see what it prints out.
