did anyone tried? if can, i will download renegade, and use my original cd key. ( my laptop does not have DVD ROM, I HAVE C&C SAGA)

Renegade works fine on Windows 8, especially with the latest TT patches to avoid UAC issues (which were also present in Windows Vista and 7)

there is a mod, which presents us a tiberium wars FPS (renegade mod )
what was the name of it? And does it work on windows 8?

Yes renegade with TT 4.1 will work fine on Windows 8.
The mod you are thinking of is http://www.tiberiumcrystalwar.com probably.
We are still working on it, although it is slower progressing now since some developers have quit recently.

If you are looking for a server to play Renegade at i recommend our new maps server Smile
