Are there any wicked mods that make playing thru the renegade campaign again worth it?

If you enjoy the single player maps and fighting AI/Bots I would recommend playing co-op, most servers host nearly all the single player maps.

Short Answer: No

Long Answer: I saw one that changes a few weapons in it to the beta versions, but it doesn't change actual gameplay, and it wasn't ever finished. So no.
