Has anyone figured out how you get ranked in the ladder system?

How do the Ladder points you get ingame, translate into your Ranking points?

yesterday, i got about 274 ladder points in one game on Renstation 2, and when I looked at my Ranking picture in my Sig, the points on that went up by 400. After only ONE Game.

so, can anyone explains how the points you earn at the end of a game, translate into your actual Ranking points.

Do you mean what determines ladder points?
If thats what you mean there are several factors...total game time, # of players, and the number of points earned, and naturally the more there are of any of the three the more ladder points you'll get.

If you mean how do you get a better rank...
Everybody that plays Renegade starts with 10,000 ladder points. The person with the most ladder points has the rank of 1, the person with the second most has a rank of 2, and so forth. I'm not sure how many ladder points I have but my rank was in the 600s last time i checked. The more ladder points you get the further up you'll move.

and with you ladder
you also have to think that you ladder for each game gets added to your ladder
but so does everyone elses and you might get 500 ladder in a game
but on your ranking ladder you might of lost 10 ladder
it all depends on what other people get in the games they play and what you get

just something to think about

Those points came from somewhere. The points you get at the end are the ones that go on your ladder ranking. Someone posted the links before... when you look at each game you can add the points up to get your total ladder + 10,000.
