I mainly ment the color scheme and the fact the left side of the U ends up higher.
The Unreal Engine logo also pops in with a circular effect and the sound on the background is a similar hum as used in the Unreal logo. Less pronounced and more equalized (brought to one level) though.
It was just an observation of similarities. I did not say it was a copy/clone.
I don't know which one was earlier or how long ago the Ultra AOW logo was created. When I saw it I just thought it looked familiar in a way.
@Bazil; I never said the sound was wrong.
@Zunnie; I didn't know when it was created. I'm not all knowing ;P
@Roszek; Similarities are not bound to fonts and I'm not angry (hell, I don't even know if I've ever been. I only raised my voice once or twice but even then I wasn't angry 0o. I've really got quite the opposite of an anger problem lol).
You can reference MDK (like Zunnie referenced DJ-EYE-K) if you like but most of the rene-drama was before my time. I only know the parts that are currently happening and I'm not getting into that spam-fest.
Aside from that, posting things like "Oh he look! We made this guy a mod" is kinda asking for it.

Can I ask why you guys obviously hate RenForums and the people on it, yet continually post your shit on it like people AREN'T just going to be total fucking douches? I mean dude, it's the same thing that happens every time LOL (not to mention EWD will probably move this to the community forum where it's supposed to go ANYWAY)
btw I saw that video earlier and if nothing else I was extremely impressed with the video-editing skills of whoever made it

I nearly lost it when I saw Fortress come up. Back in my [FoD] and [EoE] days we hosted several small sniper and infantry only servers. The custom fan maps of that day were just phenomenal to play on with the aforementioned gameplay styles.
It was really great to see them in your video. Looking good guys, the community overall needs more fan maps!

lol i made that image 5 dec 2012, unreal 4 didnt have a logo back then and they were just rolling out UDK beta's unreal 4 wasnt even known about back then
i take inspiration from unreal yes .. but to say they are the same .. well you are blind as they look noting alike apart from they both have a blue circle and a white U
