RxD is finally back after 8 years! This topic will be used for RxD Development.

RxD was a standalone mod for renegade that stared development back in the renegade demo. RxD basically turned Renegade into HD Renegade. With better looking textures, maps, weapons, vehicles. Had an auto updater and anti cheat system. The last version of RxD was released back in 2007 and was called RxD 4.0 Continuum. Now that scripts 4.0 is main stream RxD can finally come back to life. Most of the RxD code has been lost and some of the files but most of it has been saved. Its funny RxD last version number was 4.0 and now that Scripts 4.0 is out RxD can be saved.

RxD is looking for a new Dev Team

We are currently looking for someone who has a decent amount of GMax/3dMax/Leveledit/Code skills.

We are looking for someone who knows it's way around (g)max, and has insight in how weapons and vehicles are boned and used in Renegade, and of course, has an eye for detail.

What we need help with is the following:


Vehicle wreckage's for the vehicles that currently have none. (90% Done)
Export the RxD Weapons files and rename them to the RxD Weapon setup scheme.
Import vehicles back to their (g)max state, reboned and ready for export. After export they should function perfectly identical as the original vehicle. (50% Done)
Rename w3d files with a hex editor. A sum of 100 plus files.
Make RxD maps with the rxd presets.


All done in the name of Pimpin'. If you think you are up to it, contact us, and show us what you are capable of. (For vehicles you will most likely need to know how spacewarps work, for suspension and stuff)

With all these tree huggers around, we made sure we had enough trees in rxd 4.0.

Yes of course we cleaned 4.0 of all bugs. We had whole bunch of them in there. Not anymore though, it's super clean.

NOTE: This just came in. All the tmp bans have been removed and all the stats have been reset. With RxD 4.0 everyone starts at the lowest and most pathetic rank (unranked). Good luck and happy squishing everyone
