I've been thinking about switching to Ubuntu ever since Windows 8 was released. I use linux servers all day, might as well use it for my home desktop....especially after the unproductive crap windows 8 turned out to be.

I've been using Win8 for a few weeks now and honestly, I think I see 'metroworld' once or twice a day at most, sometimes not at all. It's hardly the major disaster some people are making it out to be. A stupid interface for a desktop? Yes. Unusable? Hardly.
