So this has been happening to me lately.. I accidently tap my touch-screen monitor or my cat does (which he does frequently because he's always on my desk :@) and renegade becomes unresponsive. I can't chat, I can't use F8 commands, I can't move or shoot.
It never did this in previous versions.. what's going on? Any ideas?
Edit: Also, if I end the task via Windows Task Manager, the program goes away from my taskbar however I can still hear it running in the background like normal :\

You could try using windowed mode for the moment, or try enabling vsync. I haven't heard of anyone with this problem
