Issue installing CP2 [message #339512]

Recruit

I extracted both files to C:\Westwood\Renegade , problem is when I run patcher.exe , command prompt pops up and says "Can't find patch file". Both files were extracted to the same directory, and running as administrator does not help.

OK so I dled the patch (the first link)

But same problem as OP - "Patch File Missing"

The patcher and the .dll patch are in the Data folder, after they were in the main folder.

I'VE READ THE POST CAREFULLY! It doesn't say C&C_Mesa missing. It says patch file missing. Even though I double clicked on it.

So like, do I need to dl all those maps and the Always? Are those the patch files? Seem like map files to me, and then the Always.

So I dl the Always mix file, put it in Data. Ran patch, which is in Data (along with dll), and still says its missing...

How do I check if I have only CP1?

I WANT TO TAUNT MUTHERFUCKERS! THIS is the only reason I want to dl this script package (with only 2 files, not including those other links).

THe chat history works, and the rest I guess, but I can't seem to find any button that links with TAUNTs in the Extended Options.

WHAT IN THE FUCK is going on? I saw a guy do a karate kick and I totally want to do that too.

The core patches have been superseded by 4.0, you should probably just install that...

Yeah I've already installed the 4.0 beta 5, this is before trying to fuck around with the other shit, and no taunt functions seem to show themselves on the Extended options. I've seen other ppl do it though on Jelly Server.

Taunts are server-side, but they do still require scripts 2.4+ (i may be wrong on the version but any recent scripts will do).

If you have installed 4.0 you can't also install core patch 2, they are not compatible. I seem to recall 4.0 doesn't list the taunts in the keyhooks file, there's probably a topic somewhere with an updated one somewhere.
